raw volume
Raw volume is the sum of attributed settlements before any seller screen. For x402 it is the authorized USDC payment from a registered facilitator, priced one-to-one. For MPP it is deltaPaid on a Tempo Settled event, for a token the methodology prices. A transfer whose payer or payee is the facilitator is left out.
Explanation
Raw is the broad series. It answers how much value facilitators settled into the observed logs. It does not answer how much of that value looks like a seller with many buyers. Organic volume is the second series, computed from the same payments after the screen. Both are published so a reader can see the effect of the screen instead of receiving one adjusted number with the adjustment hidden.
Raw volume is not every stablecoin transfer, and it is not an estimate of card or Lightning activity. Transactions that fail the attribution rule are absent, not folded into an "other" bucket. Windows and distinct-payer rules are described on the measurement page. Chart buckets and headline totals are computed differently and will not add up buyer by buyer.
