Measurement
organic volume
Organic volume is the part of raw settled volume that passes the version 1 seller screen on the window you select. A seller needs at least $100 of revenue, at least 3 distinct buyers, an average payment of at least $0.001, and an address that is not a facilitator settlement wallet. The screen is recomputed for 7 day, 30 day, 90 day, and all-time windows.
Explanation
The point of the screen is to flag concentrated, dust, or facilitator-to-facilitator flow without deleting it from the raw series. A seller who fails one test drops out of organic for that window and remains in raw. Passing the screen is not proof of human demand, retail intent, or a unique economic good. Related buyers can still look diverse onchain.
Average payment is revenue divided by payment count. The $0.001 floor removes sellers whose typical payment is dust. It does not remove a seller with a few dust payments and a high enough average. Use-case payers are summed per seller and can overlap, so they are not an organic-buyer count. The methodology page is the versioned statement of these rules.
