Assets and chains
Solana
Solana is a layer-1 blockchain. x402 on Solana is counted when the transaction fee payer is a registered facilitator and the seller's USDC balance increases. The mint is Circle's USDC. Solana settlements are part of the x402 series, on their own chain page.
Explanation
Solana does not use an Ethereum chain id. x402 requirements identify it with a CAIP-2 network name rather than eip155. CDP's discovery API also accepts the legacy name solana and normalizes it. The index stores the chain as Solana and does not convert it into an EVM chain id.
A USDC movement on Solana whose payer or payee is the facilitator is stored and left out of the totals. Payments under $0.001 stay in volume and are omitted from the payment count. The fee payer has to be a registered facilitator. Ordinary USDC transfers, even small ones, are not agent payments under this rule. Solana history is backfilled from the x402 launch date the index uses, 6 May 2025.
