Protocols
Tempo
Tempo is the blockchain MPP session payments settle on. Mainnet is chain id 4217. A session deposits stablecoins into the TIP-1034 escrow precompile, and the server later submits a voucher to move the consumed amount to the payee. This index reads those Settled logs and does not scan the Tempo testnet.
Explanation
Tempo's connection docs identify mainnet as chain 4217 and publish the public RPC. Quote tokens include pathUSD. The session server method documents OUSD-first offers on mainnet, with USDC.e as a fallback, and pathUSD when the method is pointed at testnet. A channel is opened in one token. The Settled event itself does not carry the token, so the token has to be read from the earlier ChannelOpened log.
The index prices pathUSD, OUSD, USDC.e, and USDT0 at one dollar per token, and only when the amount uses 6 decimals. Any other token is skipped rather than given a guessed price. Moderato testnet, chain id 42431, uses the same precompile address and is not ingested. The MPP row on the protocols page is this Tempo settlement stream. It is not a measure of every product that uses the Tempo name.
